Realizing Change

Do you want change in our world?

I imagine your answer is yes. Not many are satisfied with the world right now.

Now, are you ready to change to make it happen?

As presidential elections heat up I find myself thinking about this piece of wisdom. The first question “Do you want change?” usually results with a resounding “YES” from anyone. The second question “Are you willing to change to make it happen?” usually comes with silence. Those of us that are actively changing might say yes, but a lot of people don’t expect it.

I find a lot of people doing the same old thing everyday, every week, every year and expecting their lives to get better magically. Whether that be voting the same politically, eating the same way to lose weight, marketing the same way to get business or living like a consumer while trying to save the planet.

The definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over and expecting a different result.

This world is insane. Clinically. (and I’ll say especially the USA)

People live in a fog of consumerism and facebook “facts” that do not lead them toward a better place. I think this simple question could awaken those that are ready to change, however I think it will have the opposite affect on those that are stubbornly opposing change.

To stay stagnate your entire life is unhealthy and incredibly unnatural. In fact, it’s not even possible because you will age and the world around you will shift. Change is inevitable.

So ask yourself,

Are you willing to change to make the difference you want to see in the world?
